In times when nothing stood
but worsened, or grew strange,
there was one constant good:
she did not change.
I dunno, i jsut like the wording.

CONAN
Know, O prince, that between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities, and in the years of the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars -- Nemedia, Ophir, Brythunia, Hyperborea, Zamora with its dark-haired women and towers of spider-haunted mystery, Zingara with its chivalry, Koth that bordered on the pastoral lands of Shem, Stygia with its shadow-guarded tombs, Hyrkania whose riders wore steel and silk and gold. But the proudest kingdom was Aquilonia, reigning supreme in the dreaming west. Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandaled feet.

Hikikomori
Today I lived the life of a hikikomori.
I left my room 5 times. Once in the morning to go upstairs and see if there was anything i needed to do; once to shower; once for lunch; once for dinner; and then once at night to see if there was anytihng i needed to do. my only in person interaction was with my parents and ordering a burrito (i suppose the girl at the counter was sort of moe...). Other than that I didn't leave my room.
Instead i pretty much just fucked around on the internet.
Woop de woop.

Webcomics that I read
Questionable Content: New comics every Monday through Friday
Good. Excellent. One of hte best.
Shortpacked
Also hilarious, although wsometims too drama bomby.
Girl Genius 101 Online Comics!
a great adventure comic.
Penny Arcade
if i need to describe this to you you should gtfo.
PA DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT
for those who really like PA. find it on your own i fucked up the link.
Something Positive
Obvious wish-fulfilmment (in that RK Milholland wishes he could say and do this shit), caustic, overly and intentionally sad, never-ever-ever ending or allowing Davan to be happy... but it's also hilarious.
MegaTokyo - relax, we understand j00
NOTE: this comic is not particularly good. It's too dedicated to dating sim tropes. also it updates like a snail. srsly.
Starslip Crisis - Daily Sci-Fi Humor Comics by Kristofer Straub
very funny if you like scifi. highly recommended - kris straub is AWESOME. you should read the now-defunct checkerboard nightmare as well.
"Narbonic" By Shaenon K. Garrity
Awesome, awesome strip. Mad science and geeks. just stupendous. also, its plot has been entirely scripted for the entire 5 year run (which btw ends in about 15 days).
It's like I always say: Any strip where the comment. "Dave has never smoked" is a valid and valuable plot insight is good enough for me.
Achewood - August 25, 2006
Hilarious in a really dry way. you have to have a really specific sense of humor to liek thise one.
xkcd
really geeky. really funny.
Geek Comic!
this one, i mostly read because it's connected to an anime podcast, Anime World Order.
No Pink Ponies - Updates every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
sgood. soap opera in a ocmic shop.
Schlock Mercenary, by Howard Tayler
again, funny scifi. Also, 4 or 5 years of updating every - EVERY - day = a hell of a lot of backstory.
Home on the Strange
pretty good. geek soap opera.
Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire
THIS IS TOTAL, TOTAL SHIT. I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHY I READ THIS.
The Adventures of Dr. McNinja
THIS IS TOTAL, TOTAL AWESOME. I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHY YOU AREN'T READING THIS.
Gunnerkrigg Court - By Tom siddell
This is a pretty sweet webcomic with a nice visual style. Also, Neil Gaiman endorses it. However these is some almost implied lesbian undertones. That is undertones that are themselves implied. it's very subtle and perhaps unintentional.
Elf Only Inn - Wednesday, September 13, 2006
not as good as it used to be. still okay.
tailsteak.com
oretty funny, doesn't update enough.
Gone with the Blastwave -
mehhhhh. can be good.
Sheldon: The Daily Comic Strip by Dave Kellett
fun little daily comic. could be published in a newspaper.
Mistakes Of Youth-- Run by a few quite unlucky men!
pretty good anime comic, not very long though.
so yeah, that is what I read regularly.
