Let's go through the history of that process for me:
- Contact first person, John Welch, 2.5 weeks before required to, set up interview - interview canceled 4 days before
- Set up second interview - canceled morning of interview with email I do not see, thus I go downtown only to be told that it's my fault for not giving my phone number, which I immediately do
- Set up third interview - canceled day before with e-mail instead of phone call, which did not show up in my inbox and apparently got bounced out. John Welch unavailable to give further interviews.
- Contact Ben Matteo. Now getting close to contact deadline; he contacts me a week later, giving the choice of that week or a week in January. I respond saying, "Either would be fine". Have not heard from him since.
- Contact Mary Beuer. She responds promptly, though it is now past the deadline for contact and nearing the original interview deadline, and we set up a meeting for today, at a coffeeshop.
- Go to coffeeshop twenty minutes early. No one there.
- Twenty Minutes Later: No one there.
- Twenty Minutes Later: No one there.
- Twenty Minutes Later: No one there.
- Forty minutes after the appointed time, I leave.
- GAAHHHHHH DEATH DEATH DEATH
Fucking MIT.
